3 years after leaving her former home network to be a contract star of ABS CBN, Ryza was seen on Eat Bulaga’s Bawal Ang Judgmental segment for Vic Sotto’s 67th birthday.
The celebrant received greetings from almost every colleagues that he had work in the past, including Ryza who co-starred him in two movies: Enteng Kabisote 10 and the Abangers (2016) and Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles (2018).
This is also the actress first ever TV appearance after giving birth to her son, Night, last October 2020.
Ryza started her career in showbiz through the second season of StarStruck in 2004, where she was hailed the Ultimate Female Survivor.
Later on, Ryza explored her acting range until she stuck on kontrabida roles after her character in GMA afternoon teleserye Ika-6 na utos became a great success.
ON TRANSFERRING TO ABS CBN
In her interview way back 2018, Ryza expressed her happiness of being able to experience working with the network.
“Sa totoo lang, sobrang blessed ko.
“Parang for me, it’s the right decision na nakalipat ako dito kasi mas lumawak yung mundo ko, ang dami kong natutunan, sa first show ko pa lang yun dito sa ABS-CBN.
“So, paano pa kapag binigyan pa ako ng ibang show?
“Sabi nga ni Arjo [Atayde], hindi lang sa trabaho pero pati na rin sa life, may matututunan ka sa lahat ng katrabaho mo.
“So, sobrang blessed, sobrang nagpapasalamat ako sa Dreamscape kasi sila yung unang unang nagtiwala, naniwala sa kakayahan ko bilang artista kaya maraming, maraming salamat po.”
Ryza has yet to announced any plans of showbiz comeback anytime soon.
